GON develops a soft new modern aesthetic: a chameleonic, flowing, beautiful ready-to-wear!
GON’s MIMIKRY features featherweight, floor-sweeping dresses, flower printed jeans and athletic jerseys with offbeat camouflage, pied-de-poule and paisley prints.
Mixing a spectrum of natural, cultural and epochal influences, the collection’s inspirations span from Marie Antoinette to Avatars, from uniforms to romanticised Berber Kaftans, all displaying a different take on disguises and camouflage - cocoony and playful.
A red thread runs throughout the collection, connecting the ideas between versatile clothes, hybrid prints and futuristic spirits.
GON is the brainchild of Vienna based designer Christina Steiner, a graduate of the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Raf Simons and Veronique Branquinho.
